Eyebrows are important. They keep us from looking like aliens and help give us very youthful appearance.. But we mistreat them. We pluck them to very fine lines. We dye them unnatural colors, and we give them shapes that would make any cartoon character jealous. Sometimes, once the damage is done we can’t get them back. They stop taking our abuse and refuse to grow back. A few women I have talked to about this problem have had their brows abandon them for no reason. They have just stopped growing or fell out without notice. But we don’t have to take it! We can fake it, without looking fake!
Start by finding your shape.
Take a brow pencil and hold it by your nose. Hold it straight up until it lines up with the inside corner of your eye. The top of the pencil will determine where you should start your brow.
To find your arch, hold your brow pencil by your nose. Angle it to the pupil of your eye. That angle will point you right to where your arch should be.
Again, start by your nose. Angle the pencil so it hits just at the inside corner of your eye. The end of the pencil will show you where you should end!
The amount of thickness will depend on the size of your features. You don’t want to overwhelm petite features by having big ole’ brows. The same goes with larger features. Having small brows will make them appear even larger! Tip- Start small and build. It’s easier to add than it is to remove!
Tools needed: a brow pencil and brow powder. Match the shade by the roots of your hair. Or you can always do base colors like Blonde from Laura Mercier. Blonde works on almost every brow color except for black.
First, angle your brow pencil. You want it to look like hair that is why we are not using the tip of the pencil. I always start with the bottom of the brow to get your shape correct. It is going to be the straightest part of your brow.
Once you have the bottom done you can fill UP. Hold the brow pencil diagonal and feather up til you have created a soft brow shape. You can clean up the top of your brows using a Q-tip.
Using the brow powder you can fill in to create a dense fuller brow
